"For the love of animals" by Heather Moorse from Stowell in Somerset between Wincanton and Sherborne.

Many of our readers may not know that our President - Heather Moorse has done far far more than be our President

She has for most of her life worked with animals and now in her retirement has written a highly entertaining book highlighting some of her exploits.

I laughed and cried from begining to end!

Stories from her childhood to recently of her and her family and of the many animals she has rescued and cared for during those years.

She will never admit it but she knows far more about the care of animals than many of us who purport to have knowledge. Illustrated with both photos and cartoons it is ideal just for you or for a present to your friends and relatives.

You can obtain your own copy from our shop at 145 High St, Street or direct from Heather at a cost of £6.95 plus post and packing.  Phone Heather on 01747 825795 and she will be only too pleased to post however many you have need of direct to you.

Also remember she is giving a donation from the sale of each book to the branch.

A win win situation all round!
